When Gods Collide is a Metal band formed in the Mid Ohio Valley in 2018. Our
music is original with influences of Black Sabbath, The Doors, Pink Floyd, Jimi
Hendrix, System of a Down, Metallica and many more. We love connecting and
feeling the music with our audience, to be one. Music is life.
One of three Winners at Battle of the Bands Frank’s Pub/Dayton, OH 2019. Opened
for Dave Mustaine’s band Altitudes & Attitudes. Winners: Battle of the Bands Smiling
Skull/Athens OH 2025.
The band still has 3 out of the 5 Original members. We have stuck to the music and
incorporated some great new sounds from Charlie and Todd. Chris and Deborah
kick ass on vocals, Zac is awesome on Bass and we are so glad to have Zach on
the Drums, his skills are off the charts.
We have an amazing crew and the sound is one they will all remember

Portray The Broken is an original metalcore band from southern Ohio. With a unique style often described as the rebirth of oldschool metalcore, characterized by their intense energy and overall aggressive sound. Driven to help others with stories of personal tragedy, and hard fought battles told through lyrics, Portray The Broken embraces the rejected, abused, and victimized. We can all rise above the things that weigh us down, especially with each others help!
